A group of about 50 students with two faculty members visted GSI in the leadership of Sh. J. V. Natani, HOD, Civil Engineering where they were exposed to surveying techniques and geotechnological mechanisms and instruments.

A live program on Communication Technologies with Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, President of Manipal University, Jaipur
Orientation program was held in Rajdhani Campus on August 17, 2015.
A technovation project exhibition was organized by Rajdhani Campus on 26th May for Mechanical Engineering Students.
Rajdhani campus celebrated the Orientation day, ‘Pehla kadam’ with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Senior students warmly welcomed the juniors. Faculties and Students interacted with each other.
They were made aware to the institute, its policies, rules and regulations. Senior students
conducted many programmes like song, speeches, etc. The director of the college Shri Nitin Talesra,
enlightened the students and made them aware with past, present and future plans .He told about the
positivity and removing our weaknesses.
The principal of the college, Dr. Manish Tiwari, provided the tips to the students to become a successful
and extra ordinary engineer. New students were made aware of Alumni association, self help group, non syllabus
projects etc. Students were vowed to follow the rules and regulations of the institute.
Sony corporation company,stepped in Rajdhani Engineering College to get the students placed
from different streams. Around 250 students participated in this drive. The representatives from
Sony India team; Ms. Neha Bhan, Ms. Kanika Tyagi and Mr. Nitish Kumar with the assistance of
Mr. Umesh Batra, Training and Placement Officer selected the students through the medium of
Power Point Presentation and Personal Interviews.
The principal of college, Dr. Manish Tiwari, encouraged the students and told that 60 students
were selected on the package of Rs. 2 lakh annually. He congratulated the students and wished them all success.
Phoenix Merry Time Private Limited (Merchant Navy)
In concern to the students’ placement, Rajdhani Campus conducted a campus drive with Phoenix Merry Time Private Limited (Merchant Navy). Students were selected on the basis of written examination, interview and health check-up. Selected students will be able to join Merchant Navy on the designation of officer level. 200 Mechanical & Electrical students participated in the placement procedure. Mr. Anil Kothari, Training and Placement officer informed that the students have been selected on the package of Rs. 15 lakh per annum. The principal, Dr. Manish Tiwari congratulated the students and motivated them.
A seminar on Technopreneur Promotion Programme was organized at Rajdhani Engineering College. A very renowned personality, Prof. S.M Mathur, Technopreneur coordinator, from Udaipur, shared his ideas and knowledge on Science and Innovations and delivered the methods of Modernization in society and life style. He motivated the students for research and provided them the information of Indian Govt. support to 90 to 100 percent students financially. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Manish Tiwari and Registrar Shri Puneet Sharma enlightened the students and encouraged them for the utilization of time and potential.
Institute conducted a seminar on Gate, The career Gateway The eminent guest and speaker, Prof. B.K. Sharma addressed the students and told them about Gate Guru and its importance in engineering field. He guided the important tips of clearing the exam and its score and selection procedure. Around 600 students were benefitted by this.
HMT Tractor Manufacturing Company
In Industrial visits and camps interaction with different departments, organizations and industries gives students and exposure of the corporate world and on floor hardships the academia industry interface is very useful to corporate and also because many a times innovative and creative solution emerge to the benefit of the industry. It is mandatory for all the students to be a part of these visits. A visit to HMT Tractor Manufacturing Company (Only Govt. undertaking Tractor Company), Chandigarh was organized from 8th Oct. to 12th Oct, 2013 for B.Tech, III & IV Year, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engg. students of REC. 75 students participated in the visit under the guidance of Mr. Yajuvendra Sharma, Mr. Mahendra Singh, Mr. Sudhir and Mr. Deepak Rajoria . Students visited various manufacturing units and assembling plants. The visit was quite knowledgeable and beneficial for the students.
Bisalpur Dam Project
A visit to Bisalpur Dam Project Jaipur was conducted for B.Tech, VII Sem., Civil Engg. students of REC on 24th October, 2013. Around 50 students participated in the visit under the guidance of Mr. Abhishek Kandla, Mr. Trilok Chand and Mr. Surendra Mittal,(faculties Civil Deptt. REC) ,Executive Engineer and other staff members of Bisalpur Dam and site. In the visit, students learnt drainage gallery, Filtration processed water supply, unit and safety factor use in Dam. Students felt benefitted and encouraged by the visit.
132 KV-GRID SUBSTATION, RVPNL, Balawala, Sanganer Jaipur
A visit to132 KV-GRID SUB STATION,RVPNL, Balawala, Sanganer Jaipur was organized on 12th DEC, 2013 for B.Tech, 2nd Year, Electrical Engg. students of REC. Around 40 students participated in the visit under the guidance of Mr. Dhruv Sharma, Mrs. Sarita Sharma, and Mr. Abhishek Jha . Students learnt the transmission of power and working of equipment and transformers .The visit was quite knowledgeable and beneficial for the students.
Quiz Competition
A Quiz competition was organized at Rajdhani Engineering College.Four stages were conducted in the competition. Elimination round, Audio Visual round, Buzzer round and Rapid fire round. Four teams comprised of Chanakya , Kalam , Raman and Tagore. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Head of the institution Dr. Manish Tiwari and Registrar Shree Puneet Sharma awarded the prizes to the winning teams and wished them all success.
Rajdhani Engineering College ,in association of Jaipur Open Source Open Community (JOSOC), organized a “ One- day Open Source workshop on Mozilla Firefox" .Students from all classes and and branches participated with zeal. The principal of the college, Dr .Manish Tiwari welcomed all the guests and introduced the details of workshop. The president of JOSOC, Shri Ram Dayal Vaishnav and Resource Person Shri Osho Parth shared their ideas on Mozilla and its mission, Webmaker tools, Firefox OS etc. The HOD Computer Science Deptt., Ms.Sonam Lowry co-ordinated the programme. There was discussion on the new versions and promotion of Mozilla. Significance and increasing effect of Mozilla were highlighted. The workshop was helpful for computer and non computer Science people also.
Assuming the need of Automation in Multi National companies, Rajdhani Engineering College,
in association with DH Plus, organized a One- Day workshop for the students of Electrical
and Electrical &Electronics Deptt. Engineer Jacob, from DH Plus Automation Pvt .Ltd addressed
the students and explained them practically. The importance and use of PlCC and SCODA were
discussed in the session.
Automation is been used in Sub Stations, Power Plants, Dairy Industries etc. This provides
more production in less time and creates more opportunities, and gives rise to the Industries.
To Enhance the Employability and Soft Skills of the Students, a Seminar by Quantum Career Academy, affiliated to University of Cambridge was organized for B .Tech Final and Third year students. Ms. Shipra Bhutani, IIM Calcutta was the speaker who delivered very useful tips for facing the Interviews, Communication skills, Body language etc. She covered the areas of developing confidence, competitiveness and grooming of personality.
